Through its wholly owned subsidiary, The Fertilizer Company, Francis Flower plays an important role in restoring and maintaining soil pH balance for many of Britain's farmers and hence maximising yields. The growing need to reduce food imports and increase output without harming the environment or the economy is a challenge that we are proud to help with.

Our service offers soil assessment, field mapping and expert advice on both products and application techniques. We can also provide contract spreading if required to ensure optimum efficiency of powders and granules by accurate dispersal.

Calcifert is a granulated limestone pellet produced with a natural and bio-degradable binder. Available in 1-3mm and 2-5mm sizes, Calcifert provides a rapid acting and cost effective alternative to conventional agricultural lime with the added advantage that it can be applied using conventional fertilizer spreaders thus eliminating costly specialist equipment.

Other products in our agricultural range include calcium and magnesium lime, hydrated lime for sterilisation of cow cubicles, yards and barns.

High grade CaCO₃ limestone granules and flour is available for use in animal and poultry feed and can be blended to customer's requirements.
